Roth, July 2011 – In Hessdorf, Franconia, the complete Mangelberger system solution is being installed for the first time in one of the Der Beckoutlets, with standardised electrical distribution, energy management, branch control and web-based energy analysis.

Under the slogan “Natürlich aus Franken” (“From Franconia, naturally“), Der Beck sums up its commitment to regional sourcing, sustainability, responsibility and the traditional skilled trade. But proximity was undoubtedly not the only deciding factor when the management at the bakery Der Beck in Erlangen chose to optimise their future branch energy consumption with Mangelberger’s technology solution. Indeed, both family-run businesses have company philosophies which are also well-aligned in other matters.

Over 10 years ago, before anyone even talked about energy-efficient equipment and the need to save energy, Mangelberger had already invested in significant development work on its own energy management system. Today, their industry knowledge acquired over the years and their technological advantage on the issue of sustainability has paid off. Well-known outlet chains such as Der Beck can immediately benefit from all the advantages of a field-tested, custom-designed package with standardised electrical distribution, branch control, energy management and energy analysis.

The ability offered by the Mangelberger developed Smart MultiMeter to track and control online the consumption of all systems and appliances individually was what really tipped the balance for Der Beck to fit out the first branch in Hessdorf together with Mangelberger.
