Fath Plastic technology
The Fath GmbH Plastic and Steel Technology company in Spalt is a specialist for plastic injection moulding and component manufacturing. Founded in 1989, Fath, after the representative new company building was finished in 2001, made a further extension with a new logistics center in 2005.
Before placing the order, project managers and planners from Mangelberger carried out a comprehensive target analysis, as with all new industrial customers. No two businesses are the same just as no two building services engineering solutions are the same. In an intensive round of questions and discussions with the responsible persons at Fath, the most important parameters and requirements were clarified. The proposed overall concept was positively received and was rewarded with the order for electrical installation, building control technology and process automation. In addition, all distribution systems for the supply of the building infrastructure as well as the production lines and the automatic warehouse came from the switchboard manufacturing division at Mangelberger.
Apart from functional and expandable technology, particular importance was attached to image building lighting effects at Fath. Mangelberger, together with Erco Lüdenscheid, found an unusual solution. The coloured building cover is accented with special lights and impresses from far away.
To explain lighting effects with mere words is conceivably difficult. In order to enable one to imagine beforehand the effect of this kind of lighting with Fath, Mangelberger visualised the project in 3D and made a virtual tour around their buildings at night-time possible for the clients. An amazing experience, because up to this time they had seen the new logistics center only in the form of a drawing.
