McDonald's Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan lies in the Caucuses, imbedded between Russia, Georgia and Iran. Probably the most well-known city is the capital and maim port Baku on the Caspian Sea.

In October 1999, the first McDonald's restaurant in the whole country, the "Rose Garden“, was opened. For this project, Mangelberger took on the responsibility for the 100 percent implementation of the master planning, provided by McDonald's, as well as design and start-up of the switchboard with integrated energy management.

Standard technology helps to overcome all cultural barriers. Mangelberger could also transfer the McDonald's Corporate Technology, tested in Europe for many years, to Azerbaijan without noteworthy changes and thus the local restaurant managers profited immediately from our experience of many years. A plus, which is repeatedly emphasized by our international customers: the simple user interface of the control, which can also be used without problems by technically untrained personnel.
