McDonald's Bulgaria

The co-operation with McDonald's led Mangelberger through many countries along the Danube and also as far as Bulgaria on the Black Sea. For 8000 years the Bulgarian capital city Sofia has had a varied and exciting history. Macedonians, Romans, Huns, Byzantines and Turks replaced one another in the conquest of the city which has such a strategically important location. It is the economical and cultural center of the Balkan Peninsula and is shaped by buildings and cultural monuments from the most diverse epochs.

Since November 1994 Mangelberger is a partner of McDonald's Bulgaria for the technical equipping of the restaurants in Plovdiv, Trakia and Varna, to name but a few. Already for the first location at the Blvd. Kniaz Alexander in Sofia we supplied the standardised distribution system, took over training and supervision of the local expert planners as well as the training of the employees. What began as a working business relationship, developed over the course of the time into an open and almost friendly co-operation with the Bulgarian representatives of McDonald's. Fast information exchange and uncomplicated co-ordination make the work on each project a genuine pleasure.
