For the new building of the restaurant "Piscina Municipal de Odivelas" in Lisbon, Mangelberger supplied the first standardised switchboard for McDonald's Portugal in April 1997.

Through the co-operation with H&K, a kitchen supplier from Ireland with world-wide business, a universal solution was found, so that, for many years now, McDonald's Portugal has been able to select kitchen devices and equipment without consideration of technical details. In one of the first steps Mangelberger had integrated the interfaces of the kitchen, thus e.g. connections and safety shut-offs of the deep fat fryers and grills, 100% into the McDonald's standard technology.

Since then we are by this long-standing customer’s side at all new openings. A confidence, for which we are extremely honoured.
