McDonald's Ukraine

The large unknown on the coast of the Black Sea

In 1991 the second largest country in Europe achieved independence and already in May 1997 the first McDonald's restaurant was opened at Independence Square in Kiev. During the layout of this first project, Mangelberger was also already involved, so that the standardisation of electrical engineering could also be consistently pursued from the beginning in the Ukraine.

After the completion of Kiev’s flagship operation, further restaurants in Cherkasy, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk as well as in Sevastopol and Odesa by the Black Sea followed. Mangelberger also still co-operates closely today in an almost friendship-like manner with the project managers at McDonald's Ukraine.
