Ping Pong

Tradition meeting the Modern World

At the heart of the City of London, one of its landmarks – St Paul's Cathedral – soars into the blue night sky. It was designed by England's most famous architect, Sir Christopher Wren. Admiral Nelson, a revered national hero, lies buried here, and the seemingly immortal Queen Victoria attended a service here to mark her Diamond Jubilee. In the shadow of this edifice is situated one of the London chain of Ping Pong restaurants. Here too the past is strongly present. The guest experiences a fascinating blend of ancient Chinese tea drinking culture and the modern age.

The innovation, technology and experience of the Mangelberger company played a decisive role in the opening of the restaurant. Its standard electrical distribution board, LightControl and energy management were developed and put into effect as a pilot project for the other restaurants.
