Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant Viernheim

At the end of the 60's Kentucky Fried Chicken brought its crispy chicken meals to Germany for the first time. Less than 20 years after the establishment of the business, it had thereby already become a global player. Even today, the strategically planned expansion still continues and Mangelberger is pleased to be onboard with many projects. In addition to standardised switchgear with integrated lighting control systems, on a case-to-case basis, the complete service range is also used: From the planning, selection and assembly of the lighting , through video and media technology up to the execution of the entire electricity installation locally.

For the KFC flagship store in Viernheim, Mangelberger also designed and implemented the distribution system with integrated energy management in addition to the entire electricity installation as well as the lighting control.

The lighting control planned by Mangelberger provides not only for unusual lighting effects, but on top of that, it is optimised for energy efficiency and is extremely user-friendly. It works automatically in the background, no light switch must be operated by the employees. At the same time it submerges the entire restaurant in an atmosphere which would never be achieved without the innovative technology behind it. During the opening times, the lighting reacts to the respective exterior and interior lighting conditions, outside of the opening times only selected points are lit for cleaning. The minimalistic effect of fewer tables and wall surfaces also reminds the night owls of the fact that behind the glass facades, a restaurant of different kind can be found, and the mysteriously shining blue signals: We are also here for you again tomorrow!
