McDonald's Munich Karlsplatz

What began in 1989 with the new building of the Giessen McDonald's restaurant in Schiffenberger Weg, developed in more than 15 years into a trusting and close partnership. Mangelberger implemented more than 1000 projects alone for McDonald's Germany - from the standardisation of the switchgears, through the development and integration of an innovative energy and utility management system up to the on-schedule electricity installation.

The restaurant at Munich’s Karlplatz, which was opened in 1994 and was already equipped at that time with most modern electro-technology from Mangelberger, ranks world-wide among the Flagships of the company. The expectations on everyone involved with the remodelling in 2005 were accordingly high. Under the guidance of the French star architect Philippe Avanzi, a restaurant which set very high standards was created: design and aesthetics with no fastfood character, impressive light staging as well as the most modern media technology invite one to feel comfortable and to return.
