House on the beach

Do you know this feeling? You are standing in the midst of a wonderful piece of nature and think spontaneously, how beautiful would it be to live here and build a house? But in the same breath you speculate whether a house could destroy that very beauty.

The owners of this extensive beach house were themselves aware of the difficult task of solving this conflict with regard to nature and thus evolved a concept which did not want to show off boastfully, but instead integrate the building very discretely and harmoniously into the surrounding sand dunes. The colour of the building materials was adapted to nature and additionally supported by warm light setting.
