The protection of personal data is important to us. Therefore we operate in agreement with the applicable legislation for the protection of personal data and  data security. In the following you will learn which information we collect if necessary, how we deal with it and whom we allow to access it, if necessary.

We do not gather any personal data via our websites (e.g. names, addresses, telephone numbers or e-mail addresses), except if you voluntarily submit such data (e.g. by registration, call-back) and/or consented or if the appropriate legislation on the protection of your data allows this.

We generally use the personal data submitted by you in order to answer your inquiries, to work on your orders or to give you access to certain information or offers. Furthermore, for the care of customer relations, it can be necessary,

• that we store and process your personal data, in order to be able to deal with your wishes better, or to improve our products or services;
• that we (or a third party empowered by us) use this personal data to inform you about Mangelberger offers, which are useful for your business activity, or to carry out on-line inquiries in order to be able to better respond to the tasks and requirements of our customers.

Of course we respect it, if you do not want to leave us your personal data for the support of our customer relations (in particular for direct marketing or for market study purposes). We will neither sell nor otherwise market your personal data to third parties, except to enterprises within the Mangelberger organization.

Mangelberger will collect the personal data, provided on-line by you, only for the purposes you are informed about, will process and use it, except if the collection, processing or use

• takes place for a further purpose, which is directly connected with the original purpose, for which the personal data was gathered,
• is necessary for the preparation, negotiation and fulfilment of a contract with you
• is necessary due to legal obligation or official or judicial arrangement
• is necessary  for the justification or for the protection of legal claims or for the protection from complaints
• serves the prevention of abuse or other illegal activities, e.g. deliberate attacks on the Mangelberger systems for the guarantee of data security.

If you access our websites via telecommunication services, communication-related data (e.g. Internet protocol address) and usage-related data (e.g. data reporting on starting time of use and duration as well as on the telecommunication services used by you) are automatically produced by technical means. These could possibly allow one to draw conclusions based on personal data. If the collection, processing and use of your communication- and usage-related data is compellingly necessary, it is subject to the legal regulations of data security.

If you access our websites, information is occasionally automatically (i.e. not by registration) collected; this information is not assigned to a certain person (e.g. used Internet browser and operating system; domain name of the website, from which you came; number of visits; average retention time; called sites). We use this information in order to determine the attractiveness of our websites, to improve their efficiency and contents.

If you visit one of our websites, it could be that we place information in form of a "cookie" on your computer, which recognizes it automatically the next time you visit. Cookies permit us, for example, to adapt a website to your interests or store your password, so that you do not have to enter it again each time. Mangelberger will not knowingly collect personal data of children, without pointing out expressly that such data should be conveyed only with parental agreement, if applicable legislation regulates this. As a principle, using, or forwarding of the personal data of children by us takes place only as far as this is legally permitted, for the obtainment of the legally necessary parental agreement or to the protection of children. In this case the term "child/children" is to be considered in view of the nationally valid legal regulations and cultural customs.

Mangelberger takes technical and organisational safety precautions in order to protect your personal data from unintentional or illegitimate deletion, change or from loss and from unauthorized forwarding or unauthorized access.

The Mangelberger websites contains links to other websites. Mangelberger is not responsible for the data security policies or contents of these other websites.

Mangelberger will react to all appropriate inquiries about inspection of, and, under certain circumstances, correction, addition or deletion of personal data.
