Mangelberger does not look into the future with a marveling gaze. But rather looks at the things to come as a motivation – to get better day by day, starting today. In preparation for the next automation step we developed a special power bus bracket. The special character of this mount is that you can install it with only one hand.

Whereas the installation of the conventional power busses demands two hands (one is holding, the other to screw it together), the bottom part of the Mangelberger developed bracket can be form-closed connected with only one hand to profiles like the Striebel ZW213, ED9 to ED15 or to profiles of different producers.

After inserting the copper rail, the matching upper section can also be clipped on with only one hand and if necessary screwed together. The specially developed upper part was constructed in a way that no additional side cover as touch protection of the power bus is necessary. Depending on the twisting of the upper part it can be used as a finishing or passage bracket.

 

Installation? 12 seconds

The significant advantage of this innovation is in the field of automation: This bracket was developed to save the second robot arm in the automated mounting of power busses and its mounting brackets. With this Mangelberger innovation all power bus brackets of the sizes 30x5, 30x10, 12,5x5 mm are standardized – doing this the variance of power busses is minimized from six components two only one. 

Streamlining like this causes a higher quantity of the same components and a reduction of the different supplies. Instead of six supply depots only one depot is necessary. The typical deployment takes approx. 12 seconds. Which could surely be faster but for the moment we are fine.
