Small Component – huge effect
Combining the economic with the ecological is and remains our favorite pastime ... and by far.
Well, let's do the math: an average of 54 spacers per electrical switchboard, multiplied by 25 seconds of "human work" per part, multiplied by 5 panels with these parts per day. That's a total of 50,000 spacers i.e. 350 employee hours per year for their mounting. Since March 2024, these spacers have been placed automatically at Mangelberger. By robot, mostly at night and of course always "just-in-time".
Circular replacement program
Incidentally, the spacers are patented in-house developments. The holders, which were designed for automated assembly/disassembly back then, were developed in 2013 and have now been in use for ten years. The first switchgear with these spacers are already being returned as part of our circular replacement program, automatically dismantled and reused. – Er keep on moving!
