Good for the ocean. Good for us.
Protecting the oceans is important to us. That's why we do our best to contribute to their protection.
At Mangelberger, we have been committed to using resources such as water sparingly for decades. That's why we have our own wells, rainwater cisterns and water treatment systems. We clean our buildings with ecological, non-toxic cleaning agents and regularly check the flow rates of our sanitary facilities. But is that all? No, of course it's not.
As part of our sustainability strategy, we use microfiber-free shirts, hoodies and pullovers for our employees' workwear. Good for our oceans and good for our employees. Mangelberger also organizes regular clean-ups. We clean hiking trails and help to ensure that cigarette butts end up in the appropriate bins – and not in meadows, forests or sewage systems.
Much more … than ESG
Some people might think ESG would be a song contest. Others know exactly what it's all about. The three letters stand for "Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance", and companies that integrate such ESG criteria into their strategy are acting sustainably and making a “green” impression. On investors, customers and, of course, Mother Nature. But what is it really all about?
We think that these three letters are not about putting on a fancy green face. It's about actually using resources responsibly as a company. Our ESG rating was already excellent before an ESG rating had even existed. And we will continue to do so. We practice circularity and sustainability – because we do it for the planet we live on. That's how it's been for 25 years. And that's how it will be in the future.
WE KEEP ON MOVING.
