Mangelberg lands Down Under

Caltex, Australia’s biggest petrol station operator, has become a new partner of Mangelberger - and, with the first Caltex Star Mart Convenience Store in Wollongong, shown that Franconian know-how, even at the other end of the world, can make a vital difference.

HACCP-monitoring, leakage-monitoring of petrol tanks, comprehensive energy management as well as lighting control, alarm-reporting and smart integration of all bowsers: tailor-made for Caltex and already standardized for the next stations.

Caltex maintains an impressive network of 1,900 stations over the whole continent. The plan envisages establishing a presence, especially in the rural regions, for the petrol station to function as a supply centre. So, it’s not just a place where you fill up with fuel – but also with something to drink. And, in addition, with everything Australians might require – from chewing tobacco and insect spray to a fresh lettuce.

That’s how Mangelberger not only won over a highly ambitious customer Down Under – it also contributes there to increasing the attractiveness of the rural regions.
