Switchgear manufacturing for stores at Mangelberger's plant in Roth

Robot manufacturing

of individual switchgear for stores

In 2014 we became the first company in Europe to introduce robot-assisted assembly of switchgear. Today, 40 automated supply units stock more than 1,000 components, and eight robots configure and assemble every switchboard and label it by laser.

Our highly automated “Night Factory” enables maximum flexibility, the highest adherence to schedules and the shortest production times – even for international rollouts and demanding project deadlines.

Frequently asked questions about robot manufacturing of switchgear

Who manufactures individual switchgear for stores automatically?

We at Mangelberger do. And we have been doing so since 2014. We have clearly defined standard processes and still deliver individually optimised manufacturing for our customers from retail, fashion and food.

From what batch size is robot-assisted switchgear manufacturing possible?

Whether it is a complex electrical distribution board, larger switchgear or a compact switch cabinet: we design our systems on the basis of a standard layout, which we adapt individually for every customer and every store. That is why the answer to this question is: batch size 1.

How quickly can automatically manufactured switchgear be delivered?

As soon as the development has been completed, we offer our framework-agreement customers a so-called FastTrac. Because sometimes things have to happen fast. That is why the switch cabinet our customers need is available within 24 hours if required.
