Mangelberger staff monitoring store data on several screens

Customer care

with remote monitoring and 24/7 support

We stand by our customers. Stores equipped with our electrical distribution boards can be monitored remotely on request. This means faults are detected immediately – often even before any damage occurs.

We analyse data in real time and keep our customers up to date. At the highest support level, we respond to faults within 30 minutes and can be reached 24/7 as a call centre. We currently provide our remote service for several thousand stores worldwide.

Remote monitoring of stores at the workstation

Your store.

Constantly monitored.

We wouldn’t claim that we can see into the future. But our experienced team looks far ahead … supported by algorithms. This allows us to tell our customers not only what is running right now, but also what will probably soon stop running.

From the compressor’s running time and the temperature curve, for example, we can tell that a chest freezer will soon fail. We record how often relays switch and compare this with their typical service life. This gives us a very precise idea of how long a relay will last. Defects in illuminated outdoor signage are also detected directly.

We do water too … and more

For many of our customers, we document water consumption, analyse how dirty water filters are, detect malfunctions in urinals and toilets, etc.

Constantly informed

As soon as we discover something relevant, we send an automated ticket to the store team or, in warranty cases, to the supplier concerned. If there is no response, we call the person responsible.

Commercial kitchen equipment in a restaurant, supplied via the electrical distribution board

Quick response …

In a restaurant in Munich, a leaking water pipe in the false ceiling caused water to run into the electrical distribution board. The rise in humidity inside the board was detected and reported. A service technician was on site to inspect the system that same evening. Because of the water damage, an identical switch cabinet was built over the weekend and replaced by us during the night from Sunday to Monday. Result: no significant loss of revenue. Happy customer.

Detected early …

A restaurant chain in London. One phase of the main supply line had not been properly tightened by the local electrician. The contact was sizzling, just like the food in the kitchen. Our sensors registered unusual heating of the distribution board. The fault was fixed before the system failed.

All-round support?

We’re happy to guarantee it.

For 12 months from completion of the order, we answer all our customers’ technical questions about our products. We also offer individual extensions of our warranty. Database analyses for the remote monitoring of systems, optimised energy management, HACCP or smart metering can be booked individually.

By the way, the most important values and analyses do not require a connection to our database. They can also be read and tracked directly on the controller’s display.

Frequently asked questions about customer care for chain stores

What support does Mangelberger offer?

Through our subsidiary edison street, we offer 24/7 support at the customer’s request. With the appropriate service agreements, we respond to faults within 30 minutes.

Which faults can be detected remotely?

Virtually all that relate to the operation of electrical equipment. Our algorithm draws on experience from thousands of stores. This means that not only current faults are identified, but future failures are also detected before they occur.

How are customers informed about faults?

The most important data can be accessed on displays or via interfaces in the customer’s own systems. On request, our experts monitor the running systems and inform the store concerned or the responsible team in the event of a fault or anomaly.
